Sinomach Changlin Shines in Malaysia, Boosting Infrastructure Market

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Under the blazing tropical sun of Kuala Lumpur, the 33rd anniversary celebration of the Malaysian Heavy Construction Machinery Owners Association (MEHAM) opened today at the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre. Jointly staged by SINOMACH-HI International Equipment Co., Ltd. (“International Equipment”) and its Malaysian distributor MACH 1, the 2025 Heavy Machinery Expo marked a new milestone for the SINOMACH brand in Southeast Asia.
Government & Enterprise Join Hands for Premium Equipment Cooperation
Mr. Anthony Loke, Malaysia’s Minister of Transport, officiated the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Addressing the audience, he emphasised, “Heavy machinery is the backbone of Malaysia’s infrastructure push. We welcome global brands such as SINOMACH to deepen technical collaboration and local partnerships, accelerating our industrial upgrade.”
During a 40-minute tour of the SINOMACH pavilion, Minister Loke studied the all-new intelligent excavators, battery-electric mini-loaders and customised tropical-spec bullDozers. He praised their “remarkable fuel efficiency and emission reductions” and noted, “Malaysia-China equipment cooperation has immense potential.”
Localisation & After-Sales – A Core Commitment
Mr. Yang Conglin, Head of Asia-Pacific at International Equipment, delivered the keynote. “Malaysia is a pillar market in our Southeast Asia strategy. We will continue to supply high-reliability machines tailored for equatorial conditions and strengthen after-sales support through our local distributor network, providing Chinese solutions for Belt and Road infrastructure projects.”
The stand featured star models including the 20-tonne hybrid excavator XE210E, the 3.5-tonne electric mini-loader XC35-E and the GTY165 dozer with tropical cooling package. Live demonstrations drew over 1 500 trade visitors, generating immediate purchase enquiries for road-building and mining fleets.
MEHAM Platform Elevates Brand Influence
MEHAM 2025 brought together more than 30 Malaysian construction-equipment firms. MACH 1 reported that SINOMACH’s visibility has “sky-rocketed” during the show, with several construction and quarry companies signing letters of intent for upcoming projects.
Looking Ahead
International Equipment remains committed to its “globalisation and specialisation” strategy. Beyond this exhibition, the company is preparing to bid on Malaysia’s East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) phase-two equipment tender and the Sarawak Pan-Borneo Highway upgrades. Further localisation investments—regional parts centre, mobile service trucks and operator training programmes—will ensure SINOMACH continues to power Southeast Asia’s infrastructure growth.
