SINOMACH-HI INTERNATIONAL Participates in Safety Month Office Building Fire Drill
On the afternoon of June 24, 2024, at around 15:30, the piercing sound of fire alarms suddenly echoed through the office area. Following the command from the floor leaders on the second and fourth floors of SINOMACH-HI INTERNATIONAL, all employees in the office area promptly mobilized and orderly evacuated towards the emergency stairwells. A fire drill was being conducted in the office building of the Changzhou branch of SINOMACH-HI INTERNATIONAL.
June 2024 marked the 23rd National Safety Production Month. In line with the directives from higher authorities and the group's notification, SINOMACH-HI INTERNATIONAL meticulously planned a Safety Month activity program. The fire evacuation drill was one of the practical exercises aimed at enhancing employees' skills in escaping and avoiding danger.
The drill was organized by Changlin Company with full participation from all personnel at the Changzhou branch of SINOMACH-HI INTERNATIONAL throughout the process. Prior to the drill, SINOMACH-HI INTERNATIONAL held a unique collective signature event under the theme 'Safety production is everyone's responsibility; follow rules and ensure safety'. Everyone signed their names solemnly on the safety banner, symbolizing their commitment to safety production.
At the drill site, to simulate an unexpected fire outbreak in the office building that had gotten out of control, staff randomly triggered the fire alarm. Each floor and department then activated their emergency evacuation plans. Under the guidance of floor leaders, all personnel were evacuated. During the evacuation, employees bent down, covered their mouths and noses with wet towels, and quickly and orderly evacuated via the safe passage and stairwells to the assembly point in front of the office building. At the end of the drill, participants listened to a summary of the drill activities and actively engaged in practical fire extinguisher training.
Through this practical exercise, the awareness of fire hazards and the skills needed for escape and avoidance were effectively enhanced among all employees.
